// about

Chris K. Howard

I'm a Digital Systems Architect based in Houston, TX. I design and build the technical infrastructure behind digital products, spanning CMS architecture, MarTech stack planning, SEO operations, and deployment pipelines.

My work spans enterprise SaaS, agency builds, and community-driven organizations. On the enterprise side, I've managed multi-language content systems for LumApps and Beekeeper, including 36-collection CMS migrations, 5-language SEO infrastructure, and Pardot audit workflows across 3,489+ pages.

I work across multiple stacks because projects require it. Astro and Next.js for performance-critical builds. Webflow Enterprise for marketing teams that need designer-level CMS control. WordPress for membership platforms and plugin ecosystems. Sanity v3 for structured content that scales. The stack decision follows the system requirements, not the other way around.

Before systems architecture, I worked in marketing strategy and business development. That background informs how I think about every project: not just whether the code works, but whether the system serves the business goal it was built for.

I'm an active member of the African American Marketing Association (AAMA), where I contribute to the podcast (4+ episodes), built the digital infrastructure for the organization's web presence and member portal, and helped design the Pulse Awards submission platform.

I've also worked with HAULYP and Urban League Young Professionals on chapter proposals, event planning, and membership operations, building the systems that keep volunteer-led organizations running.

These aren't side activities. They demonstrate the same capabilities that run a domain migration or a platform launch.
