MIEC
CMS-driven rebuild of a 20-year Morehouse entrepreneurship center. Roughly 38 pages moved off WordPress onto Astro 6 and Sanity, with a 26-block page builder and click-to-edit editing for non-technical staff.

// problem
The Morehouse Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center had two decades of programs sitting on a WordPress site on Turbify that staff could not meaningfully update. Every content change went through a developer, the design had aged, and the hosting was a standing cost. They needed a faster site they could run themselves, and a way off WordPress that would not cost them their Google rankings.
// solution
Rebuilt roughly 38 pages in Astro 6 on Cloudflare Workers, with Sanity as the CMS and click-to-edit visual editing so staff can change any headline, image, or stat from inside Studio. Added a 26-block page builder so the team can assemble new pages on the existing design system without a developer. Replaced the embedded third-party contact forms with a native form on a server-side Resend pipeline, including branded confirmation emails, a spam honeypot, and SPF and DMARC configured for deliverability. Moved the site to miecenter.org and mapped every old WordPress URL to its new home with one-to-one 301 redirects.
// results
Live at miecenter.org on Cloudflare Workers. Staff now create and edit pages themselves in Sanity Studio, and the contact form delivers branded, authenticated email on every submission. The old WordPress site is fully covered by path-preserving 301 redirects, right down to the legacy slugs, which clears the way to shut off the Turbify hosting for good.
