// problem
The Civic League of Greater New Brunswick has served its community since 1945, but its Wix site had grown scattered, gave the League no way to take donations or grow a newsletter on its own terms, and locked content behind a rigid template. Twenty-two pages had accumulated over the years and had to survive the move without losing their search rankings.
// solution
The League now maintains its own site - board and staff directories, programs, news, and events - through click-to-edit visual editing. The 22 legacy URLs were consolidated into a cleaner structure and preserved with managed redirects so nothing dropped in search. Donations run on Stripe, newsletter signups sync straight to Mailchimp, and a private dashboard tracks donations and RSVPs. When the domain's registrar couldn't move nameservers, the site was re-hosted to keep the launch on schedule, with email untouched.
// results
Live at civicleaguenb.com since July 9, 2026, fully replacing Wix. The League updates every page itself, donations process through Stripe, and newsletter signups flow to Mailchimp automatically - all on infrastructure the organization controls.
