Rhythm & Hues

// problem

An arts brand was launching with prints to sell and a roster of artists to introduce, and needed an audience before the full site existed. The work was visual and the artists mattered as much as the products, so a standard storefront would not do the job: people had to be able to meet the roster, not just browse a catalogue. And the launch needed to start collecting interest immediately rather than waiting on the whole build.

// solution

A staged launch. A landing page went up first, carrying the hero image, early-access copy, legal links, and an email signup wired into the store's own campaign tools, so the mailing list started growing weeks before the full site was ready. The main site followed on WordPress with the shop running on Shopify, and artist profiles built as custom post types so each artist has structured bio content that renders as anchored sections on a single page rather than scattering visitors across separate ones. Navigation anchors within the page instead of reloading, an exit-intent prompt catches people on their way out, and QR codes carry the same routes into offline events.
